I haven't felt safe around a lot of people, or in a lot of relationships, because of things that happened as a child and continued into teenagehood and adulthood. Q made me feel safe, and having that allowed me to question- is this reality enough for me. He gave me a love that liberates.

Some things I've learned recently:

I did something a little different and decided to try an epistolary (letter writing) format. It ended up being about forgiveness, but also larger themes of adultifying and sexualizing Black girls.

Living out loud comes with a lot of joy. It also comes with some assholes intent on being cishetero-normative to the point of violence (and other forms of harm) if you dare break the mold.

So this happened yesterday.

Sometimes the anticipation of getting to know someone is just as amorous as the continued deep emotional understanding 🌸🍃
